Kingston Maurward College is launching new degree level courses in its new university centre from September.
The Higher National Diplomas (HNDs) in equine, animal welfare & science, and agriculture are two-year courses, equivalent to a foundation degree, and are available to do full- or part-time.
The courses allow progression to full BSc degree programmes, some of which are delivered at the university centre, including Animal Welfare & Science, and Marine Ecology & Conservation.
The University Centre Kingston Maurward is a combination of classrooms, meeting rooms, social areas and a lecture theatre used by both degree level students, and by local businesses for break out meetings and conferences.
Head of Higher Education, Mat Jarvis, said: “Some people’s perception of higher education is dry lectures and impenetrable academia. I love what we offer at University Centre Kingston Maurward as our degree level courses are different to other programmes.”
