Get ready to stomp and explore – Dino Day is roaring back to Portland Museum on Wednesday, August 19.
Little ones can get stuck into paper dino crafts, making their own prehistoric pals, or take on the Dino Eye Spy Challenge, hunting for hidden clues.
There’s also the chance to paint your own fossil, get a face painting or glitter tattoo of your favourite dino, and design a badge to take home.

And families should keep watch for the museum’s roaming T Rexes, friendly giant visitors wandering the grounds throughout the day.
Trustee Andrea Frankham-Hughes said: “Dino Day is one of our most popular events of the year. Bring your explorers, unleash their imaginations, and enjoy a day of creativity, discovery and Jurassic fun!”
Open 10.30-4pm. No booking required. £3.50 per child and £2.50 per accompanying adult. Portlanders pay £2.50 for kids, £1 adults. Face painting and paint-your-own-fossil extra cost.
